Evo 4G Specs

A Few Amazing Evo 4G Specs to Be Excited About

The Sprint HTC Evo 4G is America’s first 4G smart phone.  Since its release in June, smart phone fans have been waiting to buy HTC Evo 4G.  The 4G, while not available in all markets, provides fast connections anytime in all places.  Here are a few Evo 4G specs.

Screen

The HTC Evo has a 4.3 inch touch screen.  This is larger than most of its competitors which makes watching videos and viewing documents easier on the eyes.  The Evo has 4 main buttons on the screen: Home, Menu, Search, and Back.  These buttons are touch sensitive which allow easy navigation though the phones many applications.

Camera

The Evo 4G is equipped with dual cameras.  The rear facing camera has e mega-pixels.  It can record videos at 30 frames per second.  The front camera allows for video calling and self portraits.  The kickstand in the back allows for easy propping on a table for hands free video calls.

Storage

In addition to its ROM, there is a micro SD slot for more memory.  Although there is an 8 GB card already installed, you can use memory cards up to 32 GB.

Battery

The Evo is installed with a 1500mAh rechargeable battery.  The battery life has been a deterrent from many smart phone users because the many features and applications drain the battery quickly.  However, the HTC 4G allows the user to manage the battery life by letting you turn off certain features while not in use.  The WiFi, 4G, and Bluetooth can be managed in order to save power.

Sprint Applications

There are optional features you can use such as the Sprint applications.  The Evo had a built in GPS that runs off the Sprint navigation system.  Sprint TV allows for up to the minute sports, weather, and traffic with channels such as FOX, NBC, SyFy, ESPN, and The Weather Channel.
